LIFE - SOUL - ART

Brush with death: Aged only 3 years, she nearly drowned but supressed the memory. Decades later, sudden nightmares brought the experience back - with visions of warmth and bright light, at the end of the tunnel. Fear of water and claustrophobia takes hold, with a firm grip. Even so, she starts scuba diving. The unlocked memories of her near-death experience contributes to the shape of Janne's artistic soul.

THE GIRL AND THE SEA

Born to seafaring parents, growing up by the Coastal shore on the West Coast of Norway, deeply connected to the sea. Coastal life in the U. S. and Greece, sailing worldwide, she cannot imagine life away from it. The sea fuels her freedom and creativity.

THE GOLDEN CHAPTER

Culinary artist: Trained in hospitality and wine appreciation, she creates dishes intuitively, blending flavors from various cultures. Cooking and painting share the same creative excitement for her.

MUSIC MOVES THE BRUSH

Music guides the brush high notes inspire bright colors, low tones bring shade. Years of playing brass and saxophone have deeply tuned this creative rhythm, turning musical phrasing directly into visual flow. The selection of music aligns with emotions and artistic impulse, making it a vital part of the process.

Escape from Suez: At 25, traveling with her captain husband and newborn son, the small family was forced to evacuate a tanker in the war-torn Suez Canal.
This was also a harrowing experience that left a lasting mark.

JACK OF ALL TRADES

Winning art prizes as a child, Janne started expressing her creativity through hair design, by starting her own studio. Later, she even worked in real estate. The artistic and psychological insight made her a top agent, matching the potential homes with personalities. With hard work and a lot of experience, the people reader trait came naturally to her.

REACHING HER GOAL

Having travelled the world and studied art, her lifelong vision was to devote herself fully to creative expression - and she has now arrived at that goal and can't wait to find out where this journey continues.
